CALL MEETING TO ORDER:
At 7:00pm Chairman, Robert Goetsch called the meeting to order.
INTRODUCTION OF BOARD MEMBERS:

Absent: Glenn McKee
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MEETING OF: MAY 28, 2009
Jon Hanna made a motion to approve the minutes from the May 28, 2009 meeting. George Ianson 2nd the motion.

OLD BUSINESS: NONE
NEW BUSINESS:
Chairman, Robert Goetsch read the following:
1. CORBO (26.6-1-8) 36 Forest Bay Rd. (TR-1R)
The applicant is applying for a variance to construct a 5’ x 32’ walkway/deck to the lake side of an existing cabin, which currently sits 44’ from the lake.
The applicant is also applying to the Planning Board for a 14’ x 22’ screened porch, with a fireplace, over an existing flagstone patio. If approved it would sit 50’ from the MHW of Lake George.
Zoning issues: 160-50 B (b) Shoreline setback

Mr. and Mrs. Corbo were in attendance for the meeting.
ZEO, Cathy Clark reviewed the application and photos of the property with Zoning Board Members. Cathy also stated that the applicants have stated that the improvements need to be made to the walkway so that repairs and general maintenance can be made to the home in a safe manner due to the current steep slope of the property.
Mr. Corbo spoke about the fireplace that they would like to include on the property. He stated that the fireplace they are looking at is a prefabricated fireplace with a stainless steel chimney.
ZEO, Cathy Clark stated that the screened in porch will have no APA impact.

A site visit was scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 6:00pm.
Chairman, Robert Goetsch read the following:
2. BURKLE (76.12-1-11) 41 Tower Point Rd. (Hamlet S-R)
The applicant would like to place a 10’ x 18’ storage shed 15’ from the front line setback. The proposed area has been used as a parking area for many years, so the ground is already compacted and cleared of vegetation.
Zoning issue: 160-22 A frontline setback
Planning Board issue: 160-22 C (1) (b) new construction within 100’ of the lake.
ZEO, Cathy Clark reviewed the application as well as aerial photos of the property with Zoning Board members. She also reviewed the septic layout for the compound. After reviewing the application, Jon Hanna stated that the tree coverage is a benefit for coverage from the lake. Also, ZEO Cathy Clark states that there is heavy foliage towards the existing neighbors.

ZEO, Cathy Clark is going to verify what the foundation will consist of.
