Zoning Board of Appeals

November 17, 2005

 

Present: Martin Fitzgerald, Jr. Acting Chairman

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm. by acting Chairman Fitzgerald.

 

Bill Pittman moved and George Ianson seconded a motion to accept the minutes as written.

Vote: Approved, 4-1

Ayes: Fitzgerald, Ianson, Mydlarz, Pittman

Nays: Doulin

 

Hague Volunteer Fire Department, (25.5-1-16) West Hague Rd. OC-1

At the request of the applicant, the matter has been tabled until the next meeting. According to Cathy Clark, a letter has been sent, (dated 10/28/05) requesting a timetable for completion of the stormwater plan and the removal of the macadam over the septic system. The LGPC is also monitoring the situation.

 

Beaty (26.18-1-1.2) Lakeshore Dr. TR-1

Mr. and Mrs. Beaty are requesting permission to replace their summer home with a year round residence. Building will take place within 50 ft. of the shoreline. Plans call for a greater than 25%  increase to the square footage. The application before the Board is dated 11/14/05.

 

Martin Fitzgerald moved to accept the application as is, based on the understanding that an approved, engineered plan for a septic system or town sewer will be provided at a later date. A Public Hearing will be scheduled for December 22nd. George Ianson seconded the motion

Vote: Approved, 4-1

Ayes: Fitzgerald, Ianson, Mydlarz, Pittman

Nays: Doulin

 

Other business

At their last meeting the Town Board appointed Martin Fitzgerald, Jr. as Deputy Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 pm on a motion made by Mary Lou Doulin and seconded by George Ianson.
