Wilen, (43.13-1-4), Lakeshore Dr., TR-1
Tim Costello brought the Board up to date on the status of the proposed subdivision. The recently completed survey shows the total acreage is 2.21 acres, therefore a variance will not be needed. The Planning Board will continue with its review of the subdivision.
Dougherty, (43.13 -1-36),
The applicants explained their desire to construct a new home, increasing the non-conformity that exists with the present structure.
Three variances are being requested:
increase the lot coverage from 21 to 34%
reduce the front yard setback from 9.2 to 5.0 ft.
reduce the rear yard setback from 8.7 to 7 ft.
A small garbage structure located on the property will be removed once the new home is built.
The Cape Cod Association will also review this project.
Motion:
Bruce Clark moved to schedule a Public Hearing for March 24th. Nelson Waters seconded the motion.
Vote: Approved, 6-0
According the Dougherty’s, the proposed front yard setback measurement stated on the application does not reflect the correct amount of the roof overhang. They agreed to provide the group with the exact measurement prior to the Hearing, if different.
Other Business
Bruce Clark raised a concern about the distribution of minutes. He would like to see them as quickly as possible.
The group reviewed the process for collecting their honorarium with Councilman Meola.
