TOWN BOARD MEETING
WITH THE
HAGUE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OCTOBER 31, 2011

Hague Fire Dept. Board of Directors: Richard Frasier, Martin Fitzgerald, Linda Mury, Steve Young, Diane Trudeau, Katie Wells,
Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by R. Meola to open the meeting at 4:00 pm. All voting yes. Motion carried.
Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by R. Gladu that the public hearing on the preliminary budget is scheduled for the 9th day of November 2011 at 6:00 pm at the Hague Community Center. Authorization is given to the Town Clerk to publish notice in the newspaper. All voting yes. Motion carried.
The Town Board and the Fire Dept. Board of Directors discussed the Fire & Ambulance budget for 2012. The request from the Fire Dept. was original $90,000.00 for BLS service for the ambulance coverage through E5. Supervisor Belden asked the Fire Dept if they could provide service with $85,000.00. Martin Fitzgerald explained that this figure would work using E5 service. He explained that we could change the service times using E5 for 6 months at 5 days a week and 6 months (during the busy season) at 7 days a week.
The Town Board and the Fire Dept. Board of Directors reviewed and made revisions to the contract for 2012.
Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by R. Meola to appropriate an additional $85,000 for ambulance service in the 2012 Budget. 6 months at 5 days a week and 6 months (during the busy season) at 7 days a week.
AYES: Supervisor Belden, E. Frasier, R. Meola, R. Gladu.
Motion carried.
Motion by R. Meola, seconded by E. Frasier to adjourn meeting at 5:30 pm. All voting yes. Motion carried.
