BUDGET WORKSHOP

OCTOBER 26, 2011

Motion by Supervisor Belden, seconded by R. Gladu to open the meeting and appoint E. Frasier to take minutes.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Motion by Supervisor Belden, seconded R. Gladu to have an entry level hourly rate at the Highway Department. The temporary/part time truck driver (MEO) at the Highway Department will be paid $15.80 per hour next year.  Entry level Full Time Operator $16.25.

The Board discussed the Hague Volunteer Fire Departments request for additional money for BLS.

Motion by R. Gladu, seconded by M .Martucci to take $76,000.00 out of surplus for the Hague Volunteer Fire Department BLS to be included in their contract.  BLS -7:00 am -5:00 pm, Monday - Friday for 10 months of 2012.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

The Board will schedule a meeting with the Fire Dept. Board of Directors on Monday 10/31/11 at 4:00 pm.

Motion by Supervisor Belden, seconded by E. Frasier to advertise for 2012 or leftover truck.  Supervisor Belden requested that the Boss plow section to read Boss plow or equal.  Sealed bids to be received 11/14/2011 in the Town Clerk’s office.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Motion by R. Meola, seconded by E. Frasier to adjourn meeting at 5:00 pm.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.
