HAGUE TOWN BOARD SPECIAL MEETING

ALSO PRESENT:  MIKE FARRELL & DAN RYAN OF VISION ENGINEERING

Supervisor Belden called the meeting to order at 10:00 am.  Motion by Supervisor Belden, seconded by M. Martucci to appoint E. Frasier as Acting Clerk for the purpose of recording minutes.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

The Board met with Mike Farrell & Dan Ryan of Vision engineering on the EPA violations at the Highway Garage.

There was a discussed on how to handle the situation and come up with a remediation plan.  We reviewed the cost of hauling, work that has to be done for the remediation plan.  Options were discussed.

Vision Engineering wants to satisfy the EPA, yet be cost effective.

Mike Farrell will handle the coordination with EPA.  He will do correspondence in conjunction with our Attorney.  The first order is the remediation plan.

Based on the emergency of the situation it was motioned by M. Martucci, seconded by R. Gladu to hire Vision Engineering to deal with the EPA violations and compiling a remediation plan $100.00 per hour vs. going out to bid.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by M. Martucci to adjourn meeting at 11:15 am.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.
