RESOLUTION #76 OF 2009
TOWN OF HAGUE
Lead Agency
Hague Veteran’s Park
RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY M. Martucci, SECONDED BY E. Frasier
WHEREAS, the Town Board has provided funding for the design and construction of the Hague Veteran’s Park, located at 9073 Lakeshore Drive in the Town of Hague, including replacement of the American Legion Building, pedestrian lighting, benches, landscape plantings, and establishing a Town monument to commemorate local veterans, and,
WHEREAS, this is an Unlisted Action subject to environmental review under the provisions of the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), which does not require coordinated review, Now Therefore Be It
RESOLVED, that the Hague Town Board declares itself Lead Agency in Environmental Review for the proposed design and construction of the Hague Veteran’s Park.

NEGATIVE DECLARATION
RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY M. Martucci, SECONDED BY E. Frasier
WHEREAS, the Town Board has provided funding for the design and construction of the Hague Veteran’s Park, located at 9073 Lakeshore Drive in the Town of Hague, including replacement of the American Legion Building, pedestrian lighting, benches, landscape plantings, and establishing a Town monument to commemorate local veterans, and
WHEREAS, this is an Unlisted Action subject to environmental review under the provisions of the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), which does not require coordinated review, and
WHEREAS, the Hague Town Board did declare itself Lead Agency in Environmental Review for the proposed design and construction of the Hague Veteran’s Park on October 22, 2009, and
WHEREAS, the Town caused to be prepared and has subsequently reviewed a Short Environmental Assessment Form for the proposed Action, Now Therefore Be It
RESOLVED, that the Town Board finds that the proposed Hague Veteran’s Park will not have significant impact on the environment and hereby issues a SEQRA Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance upon the above entitled Action.

Motion carried.
Motion by M. Martucci, seconded by E. Frasier to contract with Swift Maintenance to perform bi-weekly cleaning of the Community Center on Wednesday & Friday. Contract price for cleaning is $75.00 per cleaning ($150.00 per week). Worked performed will be approximately 4 hours: per cleaning 2 times a week. A copy of certificate of business liability will be given. The contract will remain in effect until December 31, 2009 at the latest. All voting yes. Motion carried.
The Hague Town Board received the resignation of Daniel Steitz as Deputy Highway Superintendent, effective 10/16/2009 and has received letter that Richard Meyers was appointed Deputy Highway Superintendent on 10/19/2009. All voting yes. Motion carried.
The Town Board reviewed the Budget for 2010.
The Board agreed to the purchase of a Wastewater pumping truck through the grant for the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The Board agreed to contact the Highway Department to have them begin demolition of the American Legion building.
The Board discussed the possibility of having a Department of Public Works.
TheACO/DCO has moved out of the Town of Hague. The Board will obtain a written copy of her resignation and will advertise the position.
Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by M. Martucci to schedule the Public Hearing on the Preliminary Budget on November 5, 2009 at 6:30 pm at the Hague Community Center. The Town Clerk will publish the notice in the Post Star newspaper. All voting yes. Motion carried.
Motion by M. Martucci, seconded by E. Frasier to adjourn the meeting at 4:15 pm. All voting yes. Motion carried.
