SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

PUBLIC HEARING

SEWER DISTRICT No. 2

September 30, 2008 at 6:00 pm

Supervisor Belden opened the special meeting at 6:00 pm.

Supervisor Belden opened the public hearing on Sewer District #2, pursuant to Resolution #74 of 2008, petition to Comptroller to increase the amount to be expended for Sewer District #2.

The Town Clerk read the public notice (Resolution #74 of 2008) that was published in the Official Newspaper of the Town of Hague (Post Star) on September 19, 2008. A certified copy thereof was also posted on the sign board of the Town of Hague being not more than 10 days and less than 20 days of such meeting.  Notice of publication and affidavit of publication is attached hereto as Exhibit A.

A copy and affidavit of posting of notice of hearing as posted on the sign board of the Town of Hague on September 19, 2008, being more than 10 days and less than 20 days of the date of such meeting.  A true copy and affidavit of posting is attached hereto as Exhibit B.

Robert Hafner, Bond Counsel read a letter which was mailed to each property owner of Sewer District #2 setting forth the present anticipated cost for each property owner of the district. A true copy of the letter is attached hereto as Exhibit C.

Public discussion was held and comments were received and it was further announced by the Supervisor that public comments will be received until October 10, 2008.

Motion by M. Martucci, seconded by E. Frasier to close public hearing at 6:30 pm.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Motion by Edna Frasier and seconded by Dick Gladu that the letter regarding the waiver for the Firehouse Restaurant will be deferred to the Hague Planning Board.  The Town Board will await resolution by the Planning Board prior to taking any further action.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Motion by Mark Martucci and seconded by Edna Frasier to accept the 2009 Tentative Budget.  All voting yes.  Motion carried. A budget workshop meeting has been scheduled for October 6^th at 4:00 pm.  Our Health Insurance Broker will be asked to attend and give an overview of our Health Insurance coverage and possible changes.
