SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

MARCH 21, 2008

4:00 PM

MEMBERS PRESENT:  Supervisor Belden, E. Frasier, R. Meola, R. Gladu, and M. Martucci.

Supervisor Belden opened the meeting at 4:00 pm.

Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by R. Gladu to appoint E. Frasier as Acting Clerk for the purpose of record minutes.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

There was a lengthily discussion on how to clean up the debris from the ice storm, and how to let the residents know.

Motion by M. Martucci, seconded by R. Meola that starting March 31 – April 30, the Highway Department will begin working along the side roads chipping brush and branches that came down as a result of the ice storm.  Any residents who have branches or brush that need to be chipped should have all of the debris up along the side of the road.  The Highway Department will not go on private property. 

All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Posters will be posted around town.  Notice will be sent to the Post Star and Times of Ti.

Another clean up day will be held in May or June if necessary for seasonal residents.

Councilwoman Frasier also brought it to the Board's attention that a letter would be going to all Planning Board and Zoning Board members letting them know that they need to pick up their meeting packets at the Community Center.

Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by R. Gladu to adjourn meeting at 4:50 pm.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.
