TOWN OF HAGUE

BID OPENING

WATERFRONT PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

APRIL 17, 2007

Members present:  Supervisor Belden, A. Steitz, E. Frasier, and R. Gladu.

Absent:  T. LaPointe.

Also present:  J. Tatich, Elan Planners.

The Town Clerk opened sealed bids for the Waterfront Improvement project.

TWO BIDS WERE RECEIVED FOR THE TOWN OF HAGUE WATERFRONT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.

A.J. CATALFAMO

BASE BID with composite wood decking system:  $73,250.00.

ALTERNATE NO.1 BASE BID utilizing concrete pavement: $59,750.00.

BAST HATFIELD INC.

BASE BID with composite wood decking system:  $98,000.00

ALTERNATE NO.1 BASE BID utilizing concrete pavement:  $77,000.00.

Motion by A. Steitz, seconded by E. Frasier to accept A.J. Catalfamo’s base bid with composite wood decking in the amount of $73,250.00.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

The completion date for the project is June 22, 2007.  The Town of Hague will order the lights and will hire an electrician to install the lights.

Élan Planners will notify the bidders of the results.

Supervisor Belden reported that 6 sets of plans were given out to contractors.

Motion by R. Gladu, seconded by E. Frasier to adjourn meeting at 1:50 pm.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.
