SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
HAGUE SNOW PARK
JUNE 27, 2007
4:00 PM
MEMBERS PRESENT: Supervisor Belden, E. Frasier, and A. Steitz.
ABSENT: R. Gladu and T. LaPointe
ALSO PRESENT: Martin Fitzgerald II, Warren County Planning
Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by A. Steitz to open the meeting at 4:07 pm.
The purpose of the special meeting is to review the application and proposed cost for the Hague Snow Park.
Martin Fitzgerald reviewed the map and Statement of probable Construction Cost. The Town will have to have a single audit completed. The estimated contract price is $252,630.00, but with Town labor and volunteers we could save approximately $112,000.00 on this project.
The Adirondack Park Agency has no jurisdiction over the project and will sign off. DEC has no problem with the project due to no mining being done.
Letters of support have been received from the Hague Snow-goers, Silver Bay Association, and Lake George Association.
Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by A. Steitz to rescind Resolution #47 of 2007, due to the change of cost. All voting yes. Motion carried.
