SPECIAL INFORMATIONAL MEETING
PROPOSED SEWER DISTRICT #2
JANUARY 19, 2006
4:30 PM
Members present: Supervisor Belden, R. Gladu, A. Steitz, E. Frasier and T. LaPointe.
Also present: William Lamy, County Engineer
Supervisor Belden opened the meeting at 4:30 pm.
Supervisor Belden reported that we have 2.9 million dollars for the proposed sewer extension. According to the figures, if Arcady was included in the proposed extension with Forest Bay, Friends Point and Pine Cove, we are looking at 1 million dollars more to include this area.
On behalf of Arcady Bay Homeowners, Mr. Gladu concluded that unless there were more funds available, it is not financially wise to add Arcady Bay to this project. The Arcady Bay Homeowners would like to know the cost of installing a 4-inch main running from Pine Cove to Dodd Hill for possible hook-up in the future.
Mr. Lamy gave an overall view of the project:
