SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

WITH ENHANCEMENT COMMITTEE & ELAN PLANNERS

SEPTEMBER 20, 2006

2:30 PM

MEMBERS PRESENT:         Supervisor Belden                   E. Frasier

                                                R. Gladu                                 A. Steitz

ABSENT:                               T. LaPointe

ENHANCEMENT COMMITTEE:  K. Barton and A. Hatfield.

ELAN PLANNERS:  Lisa Nagel & Jarrett Tatich.

Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by A. Steitz to open the meeting at 2:30 pm.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Supervisor Belden explained that the Environmental Protection Fund grant application for implementing a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program was approved.  The Town will receive $47,000 toward the enhancement of the boat launch area in the Hague Town Park.

The project should begin in the spring of 2007 and be completed by May of 2007.  The project should not take more than 3 weeks to complete.

Elan Planners will draw up a preliminary plan for the Board and Enhancement Committee to review.

The next meeting is scheduled for November 1, 2006 @ 2:30 pm.

The Town Board, Enhancement Committee and Elan Planners will review the proposed walkway at the Town Park.

Motion by E. Frasier, seconded by A. Steitz to adjourn the meeting at 3:00 pm.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.
