SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

HIGHWAY SALT SHED

SEPTEMBER 7, 2006

6:00 PM

MEMBERS PRESENT:  Supervisor Belden, R. Gladu and T. LaPointe.

Also present:  Donny Smith, Highway Superintendent.

Absent:  E. Frasier & A. Steitz.

Supervisor Belden opened the meeting at 6:00 pm.

The Board reviewed the bid package for the Highway Salt Shed.

Motion by R. Gladu, seconded by T. LaPointe to send Invitation for Bids to the Post Star (9/13 & 9/15) and the Times of Ti (9/16 & 9/23).  Sealed bids to be received by Sept. 28, 2006 at 12:00 pm.  The Board will meet at 4:00 pm on September 28, 2006 to review and award bid.  The project must be completed by December 15, 2006.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

The Board thanked Dave Wick, WC Soil & Water for all of his help with the bid process.

Motion by R. Gladu, seconded by T. LaPointe to appoint Dave Wick as the Clerk of the Works.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Motion by Supervisor Belden, seconded by T. LaPointe to close meeting at 6:25 pm.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.
