Mr. Lamy reported that the Town of Queensbury opted to stop their Sewer Program and allowed Warren County to distribute the money to other Towns within the County.  The Town of Hague received 2.9 million toward their extension project.  The County asked Clough Harbour to draft a Sewer Extension Project Cost Summary of areas to the south and north of Hague.

Clough Harbour Engineers reviewed their study of the areas and the approximate cost the proposed District #2 would incur.

The Board discussed the different options.  Arcady Bay would be less costly, due to their existing system in place.  The areas that would benefit most by a public sewer installation are Pine Cove and Forest Bay.

Motion by R. Meola, seconded by Supervisor Belden to have Clough Harbour compile a proposal to include the following areas of the Town:

Forest Bay, Friends Point going south to existing Sewer District #1 and Pine Cove going north to existing Sewer District #1.  AYES:  Supervisor Belden, R. Meola, R. Patchett, L. Megow and R. Gladu.  Motion carried.

Motion by R. Gladu, seconded by R. Meola to have Clough Harbour identify the point where the 4-inch line will be terminated from the north and south of the proposed Sewer District #2.  AYES:  Supervisor Belden, R. Gladu, R. Patchett, L. Megow and R. Meola.  Motion carried.

Supervisor Belden mentioned that incorporating Forest Bay, Friends Point and Pine Cove as proposed Sewer District #2 the project cost will be approximately ½ million short.  The Town of Hague will have to obtain an interest free loan and the residents of proposed District #2 will have to be responsible for payment of the user fee and the capital cost which exceeds the 2.9 million grant..

Motion by R. Meola, seconded by R. Patchett to adjourn meeting at 12:15 pm.  All voting yes.  Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,

Deborah F. Manning

Town Clerk
