07/09/08 - There are two special Town Board meetings planned in July:
July 15th at 6:30pm: A meeting "workshop" to discuss the Land Conservancy proposal for the sale of land to the town of Hague.
July 16th at 6:00pm: An informational meeting on Sewer District #2.
07/09/08 - Music in the Park: On Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm beginning July 9th, Hague will continue its tradition of offering free concerts in the park. (In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be held in the Community Center.) The initial lineup is: July 9th - Sikaya (classic rock); July 16th - MacAlpine & Gabler (acousitic low entertainment); July 23rd - Nelson Shapiro (jazz.); July 30th - Silver Bay Quartet (classical); August 13th - Stan Burdick (square dancing); and August 20th - Vicki Russell (classical/folk/rock.)
06/24/08 - Annual Hague Arts and Crafts Fair: Plan to join us for the annual Hague Arts and Crafts Fair, to be held on Saturday, August 2nd (10am to 4pm) and Sunday, August 3rd (10am to 3pm.)
04/21/08 - Storm clean-up: The Hague highway department will be working until April 30th alongside roads to chip brush and branches that fell during the recent ice storm. People who have debris to be chipped must place it along the roadside; the highway department will not go on private property. They will only chip branches up to 6" in diameter; they will NOT take leaves, pine needles, logs, or other debris. For more information, call the Hague Community Center at 543-6161.

11/30/07 - The History of Graphite, New York by Wilford C. Ross, originally written in 1976, has been reprinted with special additions for Hague's Bicentennial by the author's descendants. This book highlights the "good old days of Graphite" as told by Ross and tells the story of a somewhat forgotten time in Hague's history. For more information, email graphitebook@hotmail.com. 05/25/07 - Hague Historical Museum Grand Opening : Be sure to stop in the Community Center and check out the newly renovated Hague Historical Museum which had its grand opening on May 20th. Click here to read more about it.
11/30/07 - Hague Winter Weekend: The annual Hague Winter Weekend will be held Saturday and Sunday, February 16th and 17th. Last year it was a great weekend of fun, sunshine, and winter activities for all who attended! Click here to view our photo gallery of the weekend's events.

7/14/06 - Sewer Update: On July 13th an informational presentation concerning the proposed Sewer District No. 2 was given at the Town community Center. If your PC can view a Microsoft Power Point presentation you can click here to either view or download this presentation. You can click here to view a PDF formatted document that contains a synopsis of the Implementation Plan including the project construction costs and the user cost summary. Ongoing - The Town of Hague offers free public wireless access to the Internet at the Hague Community Center. The WIFI signal is available to residents and visitors alike with a Windows, MAC or UNIX wireless-enabled laptop or PDA and supports IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and MIMO standards. Ongoing - The Food Pantry is always in need of donations of nonperishable food. Especially needed are canned meats, tuna, peanut butter, etc. Click here to see a complete list of suggested items. Please drop off any donations at the Community Center during normal Town Office hours.
Ongoing -There is an ongoing need for volunteer drivers to provide seniors with transportation for doctor appointments, shopping, and banking. Please call the Town Office at 543-6161 if you can help out in this effort, even if only one day per month. Thanks in advance from all who benefit from this very important service.
