The Town of Hague Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) currently serves Sewer District #1 which consists of 336 parcels for 270 units. Sewer District #1 runs from Alden Brook (aka Jenkins Brook) at Cape Cod Village on the South to just past Lakeshore Terrace on the North. It runs from the Lake on the East to Sucker Creek (aka Hague Brook) Bridge above the Catholic Church on the West. The District was formed in the 1990’s as a result of funding for the Lake George Basin through Warren County as a means to help keep Lake George “The Queen of American Lakes”.
The WWTP is located on Decker Hill Road with 3 pump stations located throughout the District. The WWTP went into operation the summer of 2003.
Tim Costello, WWTP Operator, will give you a tour of the operation which you can request by calling 543-8862 for an appointment.
