Senior Citizens Group
The Town of Hague Senior Citizens Group usually conducts its monthly meeting every 4th Tuesday of the month at the Hague Community Center at 1:30pm. Friends and visitors are always welcome. Membership dues are $5.00; refreshments are always served. Some of our up-coming activities are:
Wednesday, April 13th: Trip to Saratoga Casino including a buffet lunch.
Tuesday, April 26th: Program for the regular meeting: "Life is a Ball - Humor and Health" presented by Vicki Bueno of MVP Healthcare.
Thursday, May 12th: Trip to Quechee Gorge, Vermont including shopping and luncheon.
Tuesday, May 24th: Regular meeting luncheon (at noon) and final planning for the Memorial Day Parade, Fun Fest at the Town Beach Park, White Elephant Sale, Americade, and Senior View Cafe II.
Saturday, May 28th: Memorial Day Parade at 2pm; Fun Fest all day beginning at 10 am; Senior View Cafe at the Visitor Center at the Hague Town Park. Click here to see the details of the events.
June 5th to 12th: Senior View Cafe II during Americade Motorcycle Rally at Hague Visitors' Center.
Monday, June 13th: Clean-up Day of Visitors' Center fo Senior View Cafe.
Tuesday, June 28th: Regular meeting, picnic, and games at the Town Beach (weather permitting.)
Thursday, July 14th: Lake Champlain Murder Mystery Dinner Cruise on Ethan Allen (tentative date.)
July: No meeting.
August 24th: Annual Senior Club Picnic at Hague Volunteer Fire Dept. at 12 noon.

A Fuel Assitance Program is available to senior citizens to help defray the cost of heating fuel for the home. You may call the Warren County Office for the Aging at 518-761-6347 or visit the Office for the Aging website to learn more about this program.
There are numerous Meal Sites offered within Warren and Essex Counties. Each meal site serves a hot meal at noon Monday through Friday for any person aged 60 and over. A voluntary donation of $2.00 is suggested. Visit the the Office for the Aging website (called "Congregate meals") for a list of sites in Warren County.
Hague's Meals on Wheels program is a meal delivery service offered to seniors within the Town. Click on the Meals on Wheels link located on the left of this page for details.
Volunteer drivers are always needed to support all of our programs. Call Bertha or Diane at the Community Center (543-6161) to learn more about this need.
