Each web page is laid out in a similar fashion with a common Banner at the top of the page, a Global Navigational Toolbar just under the banner, a Section Navigational Panel shown on the left side of the page and the Page Content displayed to the right of the Section links.
The Global Navigation drop down menus bring you directly to section homepages which display further section links in its Section Panel. These Section Links bring you deeper into the section's hierarchy of pages. Pages fetched by clicking on section links will be displayed in the same browser window. As a rule, forms and external documents will be displayed in a separate browser window.
Within the Section Navigational Panel there are Related Links which contain URLs to other websites that may be of interest and are usually associated with the section that you are in. Related Links will be displayed in a separate window.
Furthermore, within the Global Tool Bar is a Search Form that you can use to search this entire website looking for one or more keywords. The Seach Results page will list all documents within this website that contains one or more of the keywords.
To view the hierarchy of the site in an outline form all on one page, click on the Site Map link located in the section.links at left or on the bottom of every web page.
When printing a page on this site from your browser, it is strongly suggested that you print in landscape mode in order to preserve the order of the sectional panels as they are displayed.
The TownOfHague website has been designed to support Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers version 4 and above. It has been tested using the Internet Explorer v. 6 browser. It is good practice to keep your browser at the latest revision to maintain the highest level of functionality and security. To upgrade your IE browser to the latest version go to the Microsoft IE download website and/or the Microsoft Windows Update website.
