USE OF WIRELESS DEVICES AT THE TOWN OF HAGUE COMMUNITY CENTER
7/6/2006
The Town of Hague is pleased to announce that it is offering free Wi-Fi high-speed Internet access at the Town of Hague Community Center. This service is available 24 hours a day to residents and visitors alike. The Wi-Fi signal is available to anyone with a Windows, MAC or UNIX wireless laptop or PDA and supports IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and MIMO standards. You can access the Town’s wireless network from within the Community Center (Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm) or from the parking area in front the Community Center (24 hours a day, 7 days per week). The network is not keyed, so all you have to do is connect to the Wireless network that uses the network name (SSID) of “TownHague”.
The access point provides hardware firewall protection against hackers trying to access devices on the Wireless Local Area Network from the (public) Wide Area Network.
If you have problems accessing this network, please inform Town personnel within the Community Center or send e-mail to tohwebmaster@townofhague.org
